Cherry-picking for the lose?

Kinect sales are astonishing but lying isn't necessary to make them seem better than they already are.

Amazing sales, I can't wait to get some more new Kinect games.

I got one for Christmas.  I wouldn't have bought it for myself.  But I have to say, I'm having a lot of fun with it.  A friend of mine came over, made some apple martinis, got drunk, ate Thai food and played Kinect Adventures for a couple hours.  She couldn't stop laughing, and I had a good old time. And we are both in our 30s.  And the public awareness is out there.  I asked NO one for it for Xmas and I received one from all three people who would possibly buy me such a large gift, none of whom are gamers.  I expect it to keep selling like hotcakes.

In addition, I didn't anticipate buying more launch titles for it other than Your Shape which I got as a gift, but the combo of good times with KAdventures! and a buy 1/ get one at 50% sale on Amazon sold me on Sports and Dance Central as well.

Yeah I agree with Seece, a lot of the detractors are the ones that used it in its beta form or have played 10 minutes in a shop. Play it in a normal location in a house and most people would find it a lot better experience.

We have a Kinect set up in the front of our store and everytime the Area Manager visits he always plays and seems to have a ball with it.

What DirtyP is talking about is that Kinect sports is out selling Dance Central. Dance Central is a fantastic game and some people will buy that and some people will buy Kinect sports. That is the point. There is a nice choice between the games, add in Kinectimals and there are 4 very good games.

Though I think a lot of sales people who have played Kinect sports may have been selling it to push it along. Dance Central will sell by ads and word of mouth, Kinect sports will sell by word of mouth.
