There are many things I find interesting about 3DS.
-I've always been interested about how the touch-screen could be used on more complex 3D games (1st person and 3rd person games), but there are undoubtedly some hardware restictions on the actual DS to make it happen, the improved graphical capability of 3DS should fix that. So far there is a very different type of gaming on DS vs PSP/ HD consoles on one side there were new original and intuitive type of control schemes and gameplay, on the other side there the more traditional types of gameplay got improved and the experience got more immersive...with 3DS I think there's the potential to have those different types of gaming mixed and also improved in some way.
-It seems like the platform will get some really serious support from experienced 3rd party developers, that's the most important thing.
-I like it's features, I like stereoscopic 3D for gaming (not much for movies), I have tried and enjoyed some hours of Dead Space and Resident Evil 5 on an Nvidia 3D vision setup. I'm also intersted it's control features and AR capabilities.
-The top 3 games I'm most intersted in so far are Paper Mario / Resident Evil Revelations / Ocarina Of Time (about games... I'll be very very hyped when I'll see a WRPG in development for it.)
