So, the cycle repeats itself every year, lots of gamers always say 'man, next year there are too many games, amazing, my wallet will cry, etc..' things like that...but yeah, 2011 TRULY is something special, at least in my opinion.

We´ll be getting new entries in:

Uncharted, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, Zelda, Killzone, Dead Space, LittleBigPlanet, Gears of War, Resistance, etc...not to mention the release of the 3DS...all in the same year...and 2 of the greatest WRPG series right there, releasing in the same year.

So yeah I´m with those that keep telling us the tired old line of 'next year will ROCK', because damn, it´s true.

Though, I wonder if some of those games will be delayed till 2012..

Someone said 2011 is the peak of this generation. I agree 100%.

I would add Dragon Age 2, Rage, The Last Guardian, Assassin's Creed 3 to the games you listed.

I don´t know but I´ve got the feeling The Last Guardian will be released in 2012, not next year.

There must be a thread exactly like that from 2009 - because this year was also very awesome in both games and hardware (Kinect, Move)... I'm off to find it dammit.

People expected it to release back in 2009.

Surely it must be done after 6 years

it really is looking to be but if delays happen again then it could be the same

its seems like the  stage year of this generation,this happes when the platforms have fully matured and everybody has completed their engines and coming for the final blow

Well, other than Pokemon BW and the 3DS (which, combined, will trump the entirety of this gen, though, :P), can't really see much for myself.

2011 is the start of the 8th gen and I sure as hell can't wait for the 3DS.

On current gen systems, I still want loads of games such as Zelda, Marvel vs Capcom, Ninokuni, Okamiden, The Last Story, Kirby Epic Yarn, Xenoblade and the Last Guardian

and all the games on psp2?
