I got my sis to but me a copy, yesterday. I would've gotten it on Sunday but I couldn't shake my gf. I can't play it until tomorrow night but at least I know I got it!

According to Amazon mine is in the mail right now. Will probably get it for Christmas rather than immediately (it's shipping to parents and they paid for it.)
Traded in Metroid:OM for it yesterday. Haven't had time to play it yet, or do anything other than open the box. Darn gf sucking up all my time, lol.

Yeah... I hate it when my gf stops me from going outside and buying a game... but sex is such a strong method to convince me...
*shakes fist*

I'm pretty sure it's just the original Super Mario All Stars (Snes graphicss version of the Nes games) collected for the first time since 1993's release. I know SMB2 and SMB3 are available on the GBA but this is the first time the graphically upgraded SMB1 has been released since then (afaik). The virtual console has the Nes originals versions.
Hoping I get it for christmas. The soundtrack with Galaxy music and the history booklet should be neat little additions, and Mario 3 remains one of my favorite games of all time. Plus this way I can sell my Mario All-stars SNES cart on Amazon.

Comparing emulator on same TV to this version, they do appear to have upscaled the sprites a little bit. I don't know if that's being done by the Wii (software scaling) or whether they did it in advance, but it's cleaner and sharper than straight emulation. (Though it is not as good as running the top of the line filtering and scaling on the same game in the emulator.)
I'm not sure. I would get it, but I already have too many versions of those games... some on VC and others on GBA. If they had included SMW / SMW 2: Yoshi's Island, then it have been a definite purchase.
