Interestingly, a cash cow is a product that usually doesn't need a lot of production costs and makes a lot of revenue, ending in high profit margins for the company, so your definition is not strange, is right to a certain point.

Call of Duty is being milked Need for Speed has been milked etc. There was vast improvement on Forza between Forza 2 and 3 and plenty of time in between. BTW there is nothing wrong with sequels to a series every other year as long as they are good and have enough improvements. There isn`t a Forza game coming out every year. 2 years is plenty of time between games. The only reason I can see one seeing this as milking is by comparing it to its closest rival ...Gran Turismo. If that is the case then you have been used to 3 or more years in between installments. I am going to assume this is your reasoning.  If it is let me end by saying that the time between Gran Turismo 4 and GT5 is the longest GT fans have ever had to wait and is by no means the norm.

I think 2 years of development is a pretty good timing.

Check Uncharted, Resistance (more or less), Forza, CoDs (Treyarch / Infinity Ward). So if the quality is good, I have nor problem with it. And every single game Turn10 ever created was rated AAA.

I probably won't get this since I am not into racing games, but there are thousands of fans jizzing in their pants after watching the trailer and screenshots.

One of the tracks is the Top Gear track, but there's probably a lot more than that I'd imagine.

Also looks like night racing and rally are confirmed, I wonder if we'll get some weather as well.

I think this may be advertised on TopGear. Did GT get the TopGear logo on their trailer. (curious because i never saw a gt trailer)

Back on topic, I don't watch Top Gear or even know if it's available in Canada but I understand it's a pretty big show, how big of a deal is it for Forza to partner with them?  I really have no clue but it seems like something that might give them even more cred in the car enthusiast world.

I disagree that it looked interesting, seeing as live-action trailers only really work for story-based games, and as Forza is not a story-based game it made the trailer kind of pointless. Also its more likely to be a Kinect compatible game rather than a Kinect required one, so really you should play it with the regular controller. If you want a Kinect based racing game, get Kinect JoyRide.
