You can spin the figures how ever much you like, but the reality is that the PS3 isn't doing well compared to the Ps1 or Ps2, it's doing around the same as the Xbox360 which is "ok", on the other hand you can't discount the Wii due to it's tech choices and game play style, it's in the race and it's leading by a large margin. You may as well say that the Xbox360 doesn't count as it doesn't have BluRay.

Sadly there is little point in discussing this with Crazzyman as he is simply repeating the same point again and again...without really grasping what you guys are saying.

My point was, if first year sales were low, like PSone 4 mln. it will need 2x time increase, to get 10 mln. and on 3rd year again, to reach 20 mln. yearly.

CONCLUSION. To be succesful console, it has to sell since 2nd(like ps2) or 3rd(like psOne) year with 20 mln. yearly.

x360 FAILED to do THAT. PS3 has 2008 to ACHIEVE THAT.

Further, I have an hdtv, plan on getting an hd movie player when I decide which format to go.  But I only have a wii and only have plans for a wii at the moment.  What's with this people who want HD don't buy the wii?  It's simply the best console now.  And it's not like when I get hd movies, I throw away all of my DVDs.  Now is a transition time.  The wii has a good home.

For now, it`s only their disbelieve.
But, well MANY here were believing, that PS3 will do BAD comparing to X360 this Christmas.
FOR NOW as we can see, it`s doing even better then x360 worldwide.
