Batman Arkham City would have overshadowed Gears Kinect for me . . . gawd that was amazing.

Everything else though was "eh". Interesting Elder Scrolls and Resistence trailers, though.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

LOL, Kinect sections (car exploration) and driving controls are optional, it'll still be a full regular game that uses the controller or wheel.  By the preview it looks like they will be adding weather, rally racing, day/night cycles and a lot more.  All that stuff was supposed to be in FM3 but was cut due to time constraints.

"You guys...?"  I for one hardly mentioned it.  But don't you think it's kind of ironic for one to claim that Microsoft is being smart by shying from overhype but yet it's a tactic they recently employed?  I'm not criticizing Microsoft here.  Just pointing out the irony of claimed situations.

I think the point he is making is that the 500m ad campaign isn't unusual in this industry in this quarter.

But of course.  But it's still a lot of hype.

So would you consider "It Only Does Everything" hype, overhype or a simple statement of fact?


Advertising slogan such as "Skittles: Taste the Rainbow" when a rainbow taste like... water.

Can this statement be bannable, its boring. And not proven that it was just for Kinect nor that it was just for the christmas holidays.

Why comment on something, just because you dont like what it is, doesnt mean others wont. It also shows that MS had something at VGA's.

I didnt comment on anything aside from the original statement. What you're responding to was a response to daroamer. If forza means something to you then I will not stand in your way. What I mean when I say Microsoft had nothing, I mean they had nothing new nor great to show imho. Theres a few big shows to do big reveals including E3, TGS and the VGA's. TGS is the only show where western games shouldn't really be publicized as much. Pulling Gears (which was obvious to begin with) hurt them. Sony stole the show because they put the confirmed a 2011 release of one of their top games at the helm of what will be an extremely dominant year.

I WILL be disappointed if they don't announce anything new during e3 next year. They haven't announced anything worth mentioning for the last two e3s btw. The project milo that no one knows anything about and this year....well..three games. And now they pulled out gears announcement, to me it looks like they have scarcity of announcements or something for the next e3.

Or they failed to do whatever the announcement regarding GeoW was supposed to be.
