THX - this is the week (Dec 11) that Wii has the $50 giftcard with purchase at Walmart. That, plus the ongoing run up to Christmas should get Wii to something like 650,000 - 800,000 in the Americas. Brett and I spoke the other day about how big Wii should be in Japan this week, and given it went 55k - 90k week one to week two of Dec 2008, and started at 56k in week one of Dec 2010...with a big game this time in week two - there isn't much reason to expect less than 110k or so.

Understood, but Wii was down 36% YoY last week and last year it dropped 200K this week. Walmart card could just steal sales from other retailers as well. As for Japan I said 117K. Yet again that is 20K down from last year.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
