Actually, a great many predicted that both the PS3 and 360 would shoot past the Wii when Move and Kinect came out, since its HD motion controls, taking away the advantage of the Wii. That is exactly the point I was making in my original post - that I'm quite surprized, because I didn't expect the Wii to perform so well either.  In regards to YoY, if the Move and Kinect couldn't at least keep the sales up from the previous year, there would be serious ramifications.  These are major technolody investments and releases for each respective company. The Wii hasn't really had much to offer in 2010 to counter it.

I know, I know. From our last discussion, I get it - you really don't like the Wii, and we'll debate this above point over another 15 posts if I let it continue. To summarize - Will was expected to fall to the HD systems this holiday, by many people, but in fact it nearly sold the same amount that both the HD systems combined have sold, even though they have recent major software and hardware releases.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Everything in pespective, just look at the PSP sales. They're still at the bottom by a way, but people are acting as though it sold around 78billion units. 

However, even if everything was adjusted up 500k people would still say poor PS3 numbers, due to the perspective it's in. When your competitors are so far ahead you'll be doomed no matter what

Wii>360 by 773K so far in Holiday #'s and 360>PS3 by 426K so far in Holiday #'s.

Looks like my Holiday prediction might end up right after all!

uDraw Studio adjusted down...makes me sad...but it still sold 59K in week 3 in America and should continue throughout the Holiday's and beyond!

Want help digging up posts calling you a hater for thinking PS3 would be far behind to feed crow to, :D?

Thanks anyway...not yet but maybe at the end of the Holidays! People would just make an excuse and say things like "well its only 430K behind so its not really a distant #3" by the end it could be behind even more which leaves less room for excuses...

actually microsoft already adjusted up there predictions for kinect to 5 million by the end of the year.

I think people consider it poor mainly because how its doing in America only selling 200,000 while everyone else is double that at least. 

Gotta give props to 360 in America's it's really kickin' it big time. DUnno what else to say really. Good numbers all over the place. Japan loves its MH.
