360 really doing well in US via Kinect and CoD but maybe a little low for other titles, but right now MS focus is pushing consoles so that's not an issue.
PS3 okay for price and lack of anything new apart from GT, which has been a steadily declining title. Really Sony missplayed this holiday season in US I think. They needed a lower price SKU and at least one more attractive title than GT. Sony always seem to be thinking about the long game, but sooner or later, particularly in US, you need to perform some good short term execution, too.
Wii did very well and with this holiday I think secured itself an unassailable lead unless 360 or PS3 pull off a miracle (worldwide). It has rose at the crucial time and retains a huge lead with just too little time left now for the HD twins.
Kind of sad to see the GT numbers, but I don't think the game was put together or market well to appeal, and missplayed the Nascar elements badly.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
