I know its very unlikely but it would be really cool to see. I always watch the VGA's each year and wonder why Nintendo doesn't get involved. I mean Sony , Microsoft and most of the publishers are involved in some way shape or form it's suprising to see Nintendo stay out. But then again Nintendo doesn't traditionally attend TGS either.

As for Pikmin 3, personally I think Nintendo may have bumped it to winter 2011. If not it is either scrapped or placed in development for 3DS or Nintendo-Next!
