So you're under the assumption that there will be further adjustments for the PS3 in the Americas for last week that will push the PS3 in "second" place, right?

Well, some could claim that you are taking Kinect sales too seriously.  Just saying.

I dont think the ps3 is more heavily promoted than say the wii or the 360 in the regions u mentioned. Its sold in more countries yes, but i think wii and 360 are sold in the main markets in those regions as well. Im not too sure about asia and middle east, but i can safely say that in africa the wii is the most promoted out of the 3, then ps3 and xbox on a similar level. I think the main reason why ps3 sells well in those regions is because of the playstation brand that has remained pretty strong...even after the ps3 launch. The reason for this is because of the ps1 and ps2 and how it actually pushed gaming into the mainstream in the above mentioned regions. Many people in my country stil see the ps3 as way more technologicaly advanced than the 360 lol.

I can only really speak about africa....not so much the others. But i think the concept applies, and sony took similar approaches when dealing with the above mentioned regions.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is a bit disappointing though but I'm pretty sure week 2 is going to be really high and it will have great legs.

Games like Need for Speed and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood are doing amazing.

And woah at Kinect Adventure. It's a great Christmas gift!

Yeah it is actually, SC (highest move game this week in EMEAA) did 50k, 1/5th of Kinect sales.

Didn't SC have an 80% attach rate? Obviously that goes down and down over time, but it's hard to imagin it at 20% ..

Can happen this isn't the first time we get adjustments as you can see.
