Still wish they also had a similar co-op mode like Resistance 2, but sounds good so far anyways.

Finally the PS3 starts getting a decent number of offline multiplayer games.  So far we have this, Ratchet, LBP2, KZ3, Twisted Metal, and MotorStorm all set for next year, and all with at least 2 player offline multiplayer.

Sounds great. And as we know we will see Resistance 3 gameplay at VGAs, so this could actually be co-op gameplay.

But the co-op mode of Resistance 2 was great, too. I wish they'd put both in R3.

Wonder if the inclusion of offline co-op will seriously help those titles sell like hotcakes.

Who knows.  All I know is I'll finally have more to play than SFIV and PSN titles when my friends come over!

There's something about these screens and info about Resistance 3 that makes me trust this will be my favorite title of 2011, coop splitscreen doubles the chances for it.
