2011 looks to be a stellar year, in fact, it is packed with so many PlayStation 3 exclusives that Sony will be competing with themselves for our hard earned cash. Along with Killzone 3, Resistance 3 and possibly Uncharted 3, one of the PS3′s biggest games is Eat Sleep Play’s new Twisted Metal – but when can we expect to get our hands on the upcoming game?

Twitter fanatic, the Co Director and Co Lead Designer for Twisted Metal, David Jaffe tweeted:

Holy shot! Less than a year & our baby will be on these [store] shelves! I can’t wait AND I’m fuckin terrified! 

Not only will the game be coming out before December 5th, Jaffe teased:

We’ll announce our release date soon!

With the Spike TV Video Game Awards right around the corner, it is possible that the game will be given a solid release date at the show.

When is VGAs awards?

Well that's surprising.

January - LBP2
February - Killzone 3, MotorStorm
March - MLB 11
April - Ico/SotC Collection
May - Socom 4??
June - Infamous 2??

Then over the last six months they'll need to fit in Resistance 3, Ratchet, Twisted Metal, The Last Guardian, and probably Uncharted 3.  And who knows when titles like Ape Escape, Sorcery, and Heroes on the Move are coming out.  And we'll probably see more PS2 collections as well.

I don't see how they can fit them all in.  @_@

The Ico Collection was confirmed for a March/April release window at TGS.

every game is going to have competition. there are going to be so many games next year that its going to be crazy.

I seriously doubt Insomniac will release TWO games in one year.  I just don't see it happening.  Either Resistance or RNC:All4One is going to get delayed.

Jan: LBP2, ME2(port)

Feb: Killzone 3

March: Motorstorm:Apocolyps3, DC universe

April: SOCOM 4, Team Ico Collection

May: inFamous 2 

Sounds about right to me...

Hmm so Sony's holidays should look something like ...

- Uncharted 3
- Resistance 3
- Rachet and Clank : All 4 One
- Twisted Metal
- Last Guardian

I think that Resistance 3 and Last Guardian will be delayed sometime in 2012.
