Those figures in the first post are off. My records show that NPD has the following Jan-Oct 2010 totals:

Wii - 3.439m

X360 - 3.534m

PS3 - 2.593m

DS - 4.558m

PSP - 0.93m - 0.94m (missing Sept 2010 exact figure, have all others)

PS2 - 0.55m - 0.65m (missing four months of figures)

I really don't think anyone will pay these figures much attention in the future - Wii did 600k BF week and is getting discounted to $150 again in December. No reason to think it can't do 3m in five weeks again.
