Something about it makes me think that someone like me who originally wrote off Demon's Souls and have done the same with Neir may just end up loving it more than most titles released. I do not know why exactly, but something about it, other than the absolutely foul language, seems to cause me to keep giving it a look, meanwhile I can't get myself to give in.

I also want GT5 but something tells me that even with the lackluster graphics (Which are not important to be honest) I should grab Neir instead.

What are your thoughts? Did you love Demon's Souls like I did and end up having a similar experience with Neir? I know some on this site swear by it.

I want to play it, love it and use it for yet another reason why gaming journalist suck ass and using Metacritic to determine your purchases is an absolute joke.

For some reason I think the only reason the game is rated a 68 overall is due to graphics. I hear the story and voice acting is top notch.

I bought it online yesterday so I should receive it in a week or two. But darth and wagram told me it really was worth it.

For some reason the audio at the start of this video makes me want it soooo bad.

I didn't buy Demon's Soul, but Nier is a very good jrpg. Only weak with graphics (even though they not bad for me, not at all).

I haven't played Demon's souls yet so I don't qualify to answer your questions. (This is the underrated game this gen though)

Well Neir is in the bargain bin, i would say its an okay game, i only played it about 1/4 of the way through. its hard to think at times your playing a PS3 game, it looks like a PS2 game. aside from that i got fed up of the fetch quests.

you can progress into the main story, but if your trophy hunting you'll most like screw up, as it takes 4 playthroughs minimum to platinum. and half the game cant be revisited.

its got a nice feel to it. at first i didnt like it, but it does grow on you, and the soundtrack is very beautiful. i didnt get that far into it, so i cant say about the story, but its a nice game if you have the time. if you just want to play it through you wont have a problem, but i went item hunting, and i just spent ages in the same place, and backtracking and i got fed up. i'll get round to it eventully, but it takes time to do everything. on the plus, hot chick comes into it quite a lot, where i was, wearing a G-string.... not that i noticed, lol.

Each playthrough will be different though and add more depth to the story/characters....in a pretty awesome way.
