However, when you think about it, people seem to think that shovelware isues began with the Wii and shal end with the Wii. It hasn't and it won't. The PS2, PS1 al had issues as well. Why? Because they were the market leader and development was cheapest for them. Therefore they had the best chance at making a profit due to more people to buy this game of theirs and a lower production cost. I just go into any smal supermarket (wilkinsons if you are cool and live in the UK) and you se aisles and aisles of "spy girls 4" and "my little pony 3" etc. 

It may be opinion-based, but there is logic behind it

in my opinion overall the ps2 had alot more. but it also had alot more incredable game

ps2 has more shovelware methinks but the difference between wii shovelware and ps2 shovelware is that the wii was built and supported off of tons shovelware, ps2 just had tons of shovelware

Thats an interesting way of putting it. I must admit though i think the wii's shovelware was part of the reason for its success

Either PS2 or Wii, I voted for PS2 because it has been getting a lot of Shovelware since Gow2 released and the console is still alive.

But now with move and kinect, the HD twins will increase their shovelware catalogue too. No escape. Some small devs can really do a crappy job with motion controls, lol. Heck, even big devs...

The one that doesn't have games can't game shovelware... it's used just for linux
