If hes purely interested in Xbox 360 sales why dont he also compare the 2009 sales prior to Kinect release. Probably because it wasnt outselling anything. You have your answer why people are hard on him.

But he did compare 2010 sales of 360 prior to Kinects release, to 2009 and 2008 sales.

It was actually the chart in that thread that lead him to this observation. Hence the thread asks if people think December sales will follow this trend.

Shouldnt have said Kinect sorry. His graph start as soon as 360 starts outselling PS3 in 2010, thats what I meant.

Actually he made these charts at the start of September, before the release of Halo, and I've been harassing him to keep them updated. When he first made these charts, 360 had been outselling the PS3 since the release of the Slim in June (this was before the adjustment told us that that PS3 had actually been selling a little better then VGChartz had quoted, and been on par with the 360). He made the charts to compare fall sales between all platforms.
Also with the above chart, did the PS3 not outsell the 360 for the month of October? He only points out Novemeber sales because 360 Novemeber 2010 sales are above 360 2008-2009 and PS3 2008-2010 sales, every single week, and wants to know if the current trend will continue. It's also a rather interesting trend, and "consoles within consoles" normally crash and burn in sales.
The only reason PS3 has noticably higher YTD sales is because it's been outselling the 360 from Jan 2010-June 2010, and that gave it the edge, since June they have been neck and neck.
So he doesn't include every single week of the year, but with adjustments that would be a hard list to keep up. So don't hate him for making a thread which compared all the weeks in fall with each other, especially since Q4 >> all other quarters.
People are hard on him because his sig is pure 360, he should probably make predictions on Sony games too, like GT5 in there.
