Very true. I played Wii sports and didn't have any fun whatsoever. I just didn't get what the buzz was all about.

Try Galaxy...Metroid,Excite truck,zelda,mohh2 online...and may be you gonna understand what's the buzz is about.

On another side...i can understand you...i played LAIR and Motorstorm on the Ps3 and understood why the Ps3 was a lot behind.

Its not your fault your friend only got wii sport...and its not my fault you say the wii its not fun only based on wiisport.

And...i got a LOT MORE FUN playing Excite truck than motorstorm....just the speed effect ...

WTF are you talking about? Listen I didn't have fun with the Wii, get over it. I haven't played Excite Truck first hand so I can't judge it, but based on media reviews, Motorstorm> Excite Truck

Its a PR dude from Sony. I'm sure he's not going to say anything else haha. He's not going to go up there and say Wii is more fun than the PS3, although I do remember a Sony PR saying that.

no way motorstorm is greater than excite truck, just because it doesn't have mud terraforming and a billion polygons or whatever motor storm offers it does have over the top racing action with local multiplayer

and just quoting professional reviewers average means squat, just look at reader averages, excite truck is basically equal to motor storm

Like I said, I haven't played Excite Truck so I can't judge it, Motorstorm was a blast, however I can only go by media review, and based on that Motorstorm > Excite Truck, and you shouldn't quote User Reviews, I mean the ones on this site are borderline ridiculous.

Ok, I'm a bias Sony fan, but in some ways the ps3 will be as fun if not funnier than the Wii. Why?

Well the Wii has a remote and Wii fit and some now Karaoke games -

Sony has sixaxis games (ok not as great, but still make it fun), Eye toy,EOJ Card game, Singstar, buzz, home, lbp, Blue Ray, new school dlc like Flow, online gameplay (even with the psn games) Folding etc.

So in essence Sony has a broad base of entertainment which people have the choice to play with. Where as the Wii has the same old mini game, repetitive and dust gathering choices for people, that will get old after some time.

This is my viewpoint only!!!

yeah bdbdbd seriously when that kid said he is much more of an old school gamer i thought he was gonna say he likes the wii a lot more. silly young kids who started playing games last gen and don't know what old school means. i especially like when he mentions COD4 as though a first person shooter is old school. very funny.
