Boy, you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about here do you? You do realize that owning a Wii does not exclude owning a PS3 correct? The PS3 also is note unique or special in any way I have experienced. It is the natural evolution of gaming from previous generations. I can say this safely, and I don't even own a PS3. I have, however, played most of the big name titles thanks to my friends PS3. I know you want to defend your horse in this race, but try to do it intelligently.

I don't see how attacking a stupid statement makes you look like a fanboy either. He asserts an opinion with no basis in reality and people laugh at him for it. Defending the statement is way more fanboyish than attacking it by any rational measure. Defending it is equivalent to saying the Wii, as a console, is worse than the PS3. Attacking it can easily be interpreted as saying both consoles can offer similar levels of enjoyment.

I've played almost every major game that's come out for it at the local game store, why do I need to sink $400 dollars into something to have an opinion on it?

You don't have to take a bite to know a sandwich made of cow dung will taste bad.

It is fair for an informed individual to comment on a product they have not used if they are indeed sufficiently informed. If you do not think someone should be commenting on a product, you should first prove that the person is not such.  Ownership is irrelevant.

Leo I camped out for 17 hours and bought a PS3 the first day. I didn't buy a Wii until June. I've bought 19 Wii games. I've earned the right to compare. When did you purchase a Wii to justify half of what you write?
