Very true. I played Wii sports and didn't have any fun whatsoever. I just didn't get what the buzz was all about.

In both Human Computer Interaction and Videogames the concept of "one-button videogames" has been a point of interest because it represents the ultimate level of accessability; if there is only one button then everyone should be able to pick up the game with no difficulty. The problem with "one-button videogames" is that the games are simply not enjoyable for any period of time ...

Using the Wiimote games can approach the accessibility of "one-button videogames" while still being enjoyable; on top of that most reviews of more complicated games report how satisfying it is to perform an act using a motion than simply pressing a button.

The truth is that this accessability and enjoyment isn't just based on it having motion controlls, a large portion of it is centered on the entire design of the Wiimote ... A boxing game (as an example) on the Wii can offer both far more depth and far more accessability than anything the PS3 Sixaxis controller can ever hope to offer.

Try Galaxy...Metroid,Excite truck,zelda,mohh2 online...and may be you gonna understand what's the buzz is about.

On another side...i can understand you...i played LAIR and Motorstorm on the Ps3 and understood why the Ps3 was a lot behind.

For me, they are more fun, I much more of an old school gamer thats all. Not to say Wii games arent fun, ill be looking forward to playing SSBB. But im happy with COD4 and Uncharted all the same :)

thas just like saying Cruisin for wii makes ps3 fans think its strange the wii is in front because ps3 has uncharted

HappySqurriel: I know what you mean and you are party right. My enjoyment is not in controls never been. I enjoy guitar hero on pc more then the real "thing", the reason is it is much easier for me to play on PC. Same thing with wiisports boxing vs Mike Tyson's Punch-Out I feel I have more control with punch out. That is why I think its subjective.

You do know it doesn't really work that way, do you? Most times parents are willing to make a deal with the kids to buy them their wanted present with a bonus just after christmas if they can't find one before christmas. Or do you mean to tell me that parents give their children things that the children don't want?

Hm, as a parent let's think this through. There is a short supply of the $250 item you REALLY want (everybody wants it), guess we'll buy a $400 item you didn't ask for (that is stacked to the ceiling... no comment). Did anyone have parents that REALLY thought this way?
