Both Forza and Alan Wake are bundled with this 250GB bundle so why should one be counted as a sale and the other not? |
Alan Wake is not blundled... it's a voucher for download the game on Live... VGC doesn't track downloaded sales.

Voucher code or not, it's bundled along side Forza and counts as a sale.

What part "VGC doesn't track downloaded sales" don't you undestand?
And how do you know if the user will use the voucher? Maybe he doesn't want or already have the game.

yes, a voucher was sold, however it will not be counted on the game page unless ioi decides to start counting digital downloads with physical copies.

Its just estimations.
Of course they are off, but its funny that always the ps3 and ps3 games are undertracked.

Couldn't the same be said for Forza?

In the bundle you are talking about Forza comes on a disc therefore it is counted, while Alan Wake is just a voucher so therefore it isn't. No other arguments matter.

No because Forza 3 is a disc media (physical) in the bundle.
Alan Wake is like GT5:P... only disc sales is tracked.
Possibly not the place to say it, but COD:Black OPS has it's publisher listed as Square Enix when I look at the worldwide charts.

You can thank Japan for that. No matter what you do (with the exclusion of listing all of them) there will always be a game with the wrong publisher on the WW page due to having different publishers in different regions. While defaulting to America would mean most people wouldn't notice the error there would still be an error.
