I watched the 1st Harry Potter movie and found it long and boring.


All of the Starwars movies are fairly boring until the end when they have the nerdy lightsword battles and starship fights. The end is fairly cheesy. Starwars movies are basically high budget B-films.

 

While I am not a fan of Harry Potter movies either, there are 2 or 3 of them that are not as bad as Starwars movies.

Harry Potter for me.  Every book and every movie just got better one after the other.  And seriously, who doesnt want to be in a world growing up learning magic instead of regular school subjects lol.

I can understand why many love Star Wars but it just wasnt for me.

Just have to say that lightsabres are seriously the coolest fictional (or is it???) weapons ever.

Not sure why anyone would need to have this discussion it seems pretty obvious Star Wars is the man. The Potter films are fine but no better than a Narnia movie really.

Even the newer Star Wars films surpass the best of the Potter series and they are light years away from the originals.
