Great start for GT5 ! Atleast 2 Million by the end of the year. Expected more of a boost for the PS3, but still very good numbers. It looks like it won't reach 1 Million this week :( ...

to be fair. Who even thought that was remotely possible?

Also I dont think people said it would kill it´s sales, but that it would sell better (either sonic or modnations) than mkwii for the year (since mkwii is getting old and so many people have it)

Sonic all stars racing didnt do bad, But we all knew mkwii would sell a lot this holiday too (at least I think most of us did)

So PS3 releases it biggest long awaited game in a territory where it has been leading the Wii as of late and the Wii still beats it.  Amazing!

It would cause quite a stir, yes...

yeah, just noticed it. 

As I´ve said before I think most GT buyers are GT fans rather than racing/sim fans. So for that, I think GT5 will do great numbers. maybe on par with other installments.

Wii__Amazing sales should stay #1 in Others for the rest of 2010.

PS3__Great sales in Others but something is kind of laughable...

360__Good sales but lacking in comparison to PS3 and Wii.

Not an easy task beating the Wii during its trusty ol' holiday boost. Actually, you can kinda say they deserved to lose this week due to the delays (away from earlier in the month, when it would have looked really dominating)

The Wii is surprising me, even if it's getting plenty of bundles to help it out. It really shouldn't, with how many of us were constantly going on about its strong holidays, but I guess all the doom / gloom got to me. Kinda makes me laugh now, at how many people were actually predicting Wii to be second or (*shock*) third during the holidays!
... Sorry, couldn't resist.

Nice GT5 sales, though it'll still need to pull through with legs to end up where I was expecting (>5m). I wouldn't be too worried, though, as games released closer to the holidays tend to have smaller first weeks, with its sales more spread out over the holidays. This gives it a favorable comparison to GT4, which released in March (I think?)

As for Epic Mickey, the sales do suck, but not exactly unexpected. Core Wii games in Europe seem hopeless, and I'm not sure Disney games are all that big there anyway. Just look at how the KH games did, sales are nowhere close to the US

And I swear he said that for the holidays WW it would be :

Wii > PS3 > 360

You can't ever finish a post without somehow attacking the PS3... :
