So... I played the demo a while ago and thought it was an interesting game. But I was kind of let down by the low framerate which seemed to be around 24 FPS most of the time only reaching 30 when the cammera was looking up in the sky (like when the boss jumps to a high place). Does the framerate get better in other places? is it just a demo problem?

Well, whatever, if it's a good game I won't care about the framerate but there's another problem I heard of. I heard the game can sometimes corrupt your save data... at least in the PS3 version, don't know about 360. Can PS3 users tell me if they've run into this problem? Does that happen often?

Do you think I should wait for a possible "GOTY Edition" to get the game with patches on Disc? (because I heard it was patched) and maybe some DLC included on disc? take into account that here, the older the game is, the harder it'll be to find later (unless it's a very popular game like FFXIII, GoW, Uncharted, etc). For example, I waited for Bayonetta and it got cheap and it was easy to find because for some reason it was popular. I also waited for Resonance of Fate but instead of getting cheaper it got more expensive and it also became super hard to find :S. So... waiting for a game could either end good or bad.

I've watched a few videos and trailers and I think I'll like it... I've also heard that this Castlevania has nothing to do with the older ones. The only Castlevania game I've played was Curse of Darkness on the PS2 but I never finished it xD. From what I've seen this one is very different from Curse of Darkness.

Also, from what I've seen, this game seems to have a better story than your average Hack n' slash... am I correct?

And what can you tell me about the soundtrack? is it good? soundtrack in games is kind of important to me. The little bits I heard in the demo sounded good to me... not spectacular, though :P

So, what do you say? should I buy it now? wait and buy it later? or not buy it at all?

If you like God of War and/or Prince of Persia, you should get it.

And the PS3 version is supposed to be better. Can't wait to get it myself !

I like God of War but I barely like Prince of Persia :P

YES!!! GET IT!! seriously...it's one of the most underrated games this year, many people just called it a God of War rip-off, true the combat does seem similar to GoW but that shouldn't take away from the puzzles, platforming,overall story, and awesome soundtrack.

Castlevania is one of my favorite games of 2010!

So it's had partial influence from god himself, which would mean it's partially perfect, right?

Ok, I think I'm convinced, I'll buy it as soon as I get the chance to go to the shop (If it's available because last time I went to buy Heavy Rain: Move Edition, Resonance of Fate and Vanquish they didn't have any of those 3! I bought Vanquish in another store for a higher price because I couldn't wait... I'll buy those 2 I couldn't buy last time and Castlevania and they'd better have it or I'm gonna be pissed! :P)
