Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo yanks Monado from their public games list.

Still holding out hope that Nintendo was going to release Xenoblade here in the states? Well, now you might have reason to worry. Nintendo has had their generic 'Monado' listing on their public game list for awhile, but just recently that name was pulled. That could mean one of two things. Either the Big N is getting ready to announce Xenoblade for localization, or we're never going to see the game stateside.

If they don't release this I will regret Nintendo ever getting their hands on Monolith. I am tired of them not releasing stuff in America.

I really hope it because they are going to announce Xenoblade.

Nobody cares?

Come on people, there is a chance this has something to do with that whole Australian mystery game thing! Well, it better have something to do with it.

Well, we really can't make any conclusion based on this. 'Monado' isn't a game. Xenoblade is. Hopefully they're announcing it soon!

Unfortunatelly we will have to wait for fan translation for Xenoblade. I'm even doubting The Last Story will be released stateside...

If that is true as well than Sakaguchi will regret ever siding with Nintendo.

I really will never understand his distaste for Sony.

Honestly I've been upset at Nintendo for not localising games since Mother. If they wouldn't localize EarthBound why localize XenoBlade? I share your sentiment I absolutely want to see it come to North America. But Nintendo of America doesn't seem to think like you and I they see a Japanese game and think to themselves "It doesn't have Mario, Link or Miyamoto behind it. Guess its not worth bringing to NA.

Come on Nintendo, start giving North America everything you give Japan. North America is the bigger market after all!

What does that mean, no Xenoblade in the US and EMEAA?

I would hate to blame Nintendo for the death of the Xeno series, but if that is true I will grow a hatred for their inability to take a risk to please a few fans instead of their wallets.
