Well you are correct the PS3 does have the most domed shape in america of the three, but is there somthing diffrent about it's shape in EU and JP?

I think the OP has a point.  One could argue that the PS3 is doing better in Japan but I will go out on a limb and state that most of the posters here are not Japanese so it hardly matters  what they buy or don't buy.  In NA the PS3 seems to be the "other" system.

What's that got to do with anything? And if that's the deciding factor in American console dominance, it's supposed to be above the Wii, which it isn't.

its simple why the playstation failed this gen in the US,so first the x360 launched 1 year before the ps3 in the US and then it had an big ass price....but if u noticed after the ps3 slim came out and when it had a "price cut" the ps3 was a while over the x360 in the US (software and hardware/remember the launch month of GOW3)

I'm never sure if this type of thread is serious or not...

IF it is a "doom" thread, then..  clearly the PS3 has established itself as a viable, sustainable platform in the Americas.  True it will likely never take second place (IN America), but it obviously has a large enough userbase to ensure continued support there.

IF this is a joke thread about it being "domed", well, then I just wasted my time typing the above and well... *you got me!*.
