Releaseing a WiiHD when Patcher first started saying would have ruined their userbase and to a extent thier fans. Plus the Wii is saleing like crazy still. All in all from a buisness stand point that would have been about as dumb as they could be.  Remember what happened to SEGA

actually, his suggested timing was pretty much spot on.  A Wi HD released this holiday would have enabled optimal customer segmentation.   N is definitely running the danger of become irrelevant within a couple years.

To be honest in a couple years they probably will have another console out. But just adding HD is not going to work. They need something new to bring to the console. Well i wont lie as long as they make games I enjoy I dont really care what hook they make to go with it. But thats me Im a fan of Nintendo it takes more for most people.

Bingo. We knew he was a shill, now we know exactly who he's shilling for (in part, though Activision is one of those companies that's actually making good money off the Wii, so he can't just be stumping for them if he's prompting Wii HD)

How is that relevant to the discussion?  N has unnecessarily surrended their momentum. That is the issue.
