I went to gamestop today to be apart of the 2 preowned games get one free. The empolye tried to sell the new tony hawk game saying "you better buy now they are selling fast!"He also tried to sell me force unleashed 2 calling saying it was as good as KOTOR!

That's hilarious!

I can't wait to get to a Gamestop store in the US to experience this kind of humor in person.

The worst part is I asked him if he told other people this he said "Yeah I sold a copy to a mom buying a christmas gift for his son."All I thought was that kid going to have a sad christmas.

Dude must've been so proud of selling a copy to that mum... And grateful as well

Around the Network

The more I read this, the more confident I am about going into the job market when I am in college. Just stay up in touch with games, and I can land a job at Traget. :)

Someone once tried to sell me Star Ocean 4, while I was actually asking for Final Fantasy IV.

"It's just as good as FFIV and actually better than most FF games!"

I almost dived over the counter and headbutted him. Repeatedly.

My reaction would have been the same. That's just horrible.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Once I saw employee's in GAME literally trying to force this woman to not buy a DS and get a PSP instead. Its clear her child wanted a DS and not a PSP!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I remember a woman in GAME asking for a copy of Nintendogs and a member of staff gave here Dogz saying it was commonly called 'Nintendo's Dogz' and sometimes shortened to Nintendogs.

Fortunately the woman saw a preowned copy of Nintendogs Daschund and bought it instead of Dogz
