Hey there, I play piano and compose instrumental music (would make songs if I could sang), mostly classical stuff but I've tried with different genres.

I have a YouTube channel, please check out some of my compositions and tell me what you think.

YouTube Channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/BrunoPoggiCevallos?feature=mhum

Also, here are my two latest compositions,

Hope the VGChartz crowd enjoys them!

EDIT: How do I embed videos from YouTube again? Sorry about this

Thats very pretty music. Youre quite talented... How long have you been playing piano?

To embed, you got yo push that button which looks like a movie reel and paste the youtube link. Like this :)

I play the piano and the synthesizer. For the past 4 years I've been trying to get my music project rolling but with no luck. Mostly due to the fact that I can't find a stable vocalist. I'd appreciate any feedback on my projects.

This one is mostly synthpop.

This one is more atmospheric.

I found both styles of music you write interesting. While I like to play metal on guitar, I listen to practically anything...even country lol.

The first song you had gives me a synth pop vibe liek you said...maybe mixed with some eurodance.

The second project reminds me videogame music or at least what it used to be in the 16/32 bit days... I like how spaced out some of this stuff is. I could definetly put down some crazy guitar riffs in there :)

Thanks dude. I'm always interested in collaborations, playing solo has never been my intention, the problem was that all my friends wanted to play metalcore or whatever the heck's popular these days. Believe it or not, my  main influence for making music is melodic death metal with some synthpop sprinkled all over, thus the "melodicness" I added before the synthopop.

Im a composer, singer and guitarist, I do solo projects and soundtrack stuff, and I have an acoustic band working on an album  - www.thecarnivalofshadows.com - the best way I can explain it, think of really angry/cynical Johnny Cash, moreso than he was. Maybe considered Punk Decaf. ;)

I've got about 5 songs written, 2 recorded, and 6 in the works. When I have 13, we're going to properly record an album, release through TuneCore and get it onto iTunes, Amazon, etc. =)

I'm a musician. I'd consider myself more of a song writer then player though. Seems like, for what ever reason, you're either one or the other most of the time. I can write entire songs from start to finish with vocal melodies, but I can't really play for shit outside of your basic chords. I have friends who can play Buckethead stuff, but they can't create vocal melodies for shit. It's weird.

Anywho..glad to see there are other musicians here.

hah, thats so true .  Its best to have a little of both worlds.

I personally am more on the side of your friend when it comes to musical approach. I preffer to work with drummer and bass player to write the song parts, fix arangements...and then put vocals and melodies in to the song. For metal this is usually the best approach... But most other types of music revolve around the vocals so melodies and vocal lines are much more improtant than musical trickery

I think it has to do with how you aproach music. The guy that I was talking about, who can play Buckethead stuff, when he was young I remember him taking his guitar, locking himself in his bedroom and learning how to play Master Of Puppets note for note. I don't think he left his fucking bedroom for like, 3 months lol. We never saw the guy. He had become obbsessed with being that good at it.

Me on the other hand, I always idolized Kurt Cobain. I didn't really care so much about playing good as I did trying to write songs. All of my time spent with my guitar was trying to write little songs with vocals...even if they were shitty or comical. After a few years, I got better and better just like my friend did, only I got better at making music instead of being great on the fret board.

I really don't think it's possible for someone to master both unless they're like, SRV or something. It takes years and years to do one or the other so time spent on one is time taken away from the other etc.

Bass, uke and keyboard!

I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.

My transcription of a piano solo. If you like romantic piano solos (Kevin Kern/David Lanz/ or even Nobuo Uematsu), you should appreciate this. =)

Well, I started singing and I realized that it wasnt enough so I started learning guitar this year. Cant play much more than punk and basic chords at the time while I sing, but Im slowly getting better.

Ive made some songs but I cant record them yet, Ive just recorded one which was the most simple one in a friends studio, but he is missing the midi drums so we cant go yet to record some more stuff. And I havent played live in a scenario more important than school and university festivals and competitions.

Here is the song I recorded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-xlk4BAA4s I dont know how to embed xD

We also have some covers there we made with a friend.

Sounds like something that happened to me, I learned guitar just to make songs and play while I sing, which was the thing I did before. But I have a friend who is obsessed with playing the most hard songs he can find and doing it perfectly, in guitar and also in piano.
