I'm not saying that Super Mario Galaxy 2 was a disapointment. I'm saying that the game was hyped and survived. Not only Other M was hyped for Wii.
Edit: No. I think is a great game. But I prefer SMG 1.

I actually agree with number one on an IGN list, the world is surely coming to an end! 
The rest of the list? Come on, its IGN, even if I did agree on some I would disagree out of spite.

For what it is, SMG2 is excellent. With me, I think I began to realize I don't really like playing 3D platformers after playing it for awhile. I think I moved on from it.

Dissapointment implies failure to live up to expectations. Were New Vegas expectations half as high?
What I don't like is flaming one game to promote another. Is it a big deal that GT5 isn't AAA? Hell YES. It's a shocker. Everyone including myself expected this to be the end all AAAAE game of this generation and since it isn't even close to that expectation(review wise), it is a dissapointment to at least some extent. Sure it's good, but good does not meet the super-lofty expectations in this case. Just like Reach, just like FFXIII, and just like half the other big games this gen that flopped review wise.

gt5 to me is a disapointment. look at it this way, the develop cost went throught the roof, took 5 plus years but plays and looks like gt5 prologue, on top of that online did not work on day one of its release. some will say it looks better that prologue but i can not tell the differnece on my 42inch,
