My prediction is that next week will be a statisical tie. I do think there will be a PS3 boost, no question, however, I don't think it's going to be the astronomical amount that some are thinking; GT5P was bundled in some areas, and I think that bundle will mitigate some of hardware boost that GT5 will do. And the Wii will have a boost with the Mario Kart bundle; while I think the Wii's boost will be smaller since it's an older game, it's also far enough ahead that I think it will use the current lead and this to keep it about even with the GT5 boost.

And I have to say that I'm amused by the breakdown. 360 takes the crown for the UK and Scandinavia, but with the exception of the statisical tie in other others, Wii firmly beats the PS3 this week. I'd also love to see that next week, but... that's not going to happen. The net total tie is my goal.

PSP good, PS3 and XB360 very good, DS and Wii excellent. Nintendo's Xmas marketing is already working well, even before Donkey Kong's return.

one thing they always get wrong is the ME area. Wii just doesnt sell here unfortunately :/

Wii gets the expected large holiday boost with 300,000, blasting past the HD consoles, even before its biggest weapon this year, DCK, has been released.

Though this cannot be, because Wii is suppose to be in massive decline by now, since Nintendo did not release a WiiHD and make nothing but hardcore games, like the wise Michael Patcher says.

As for the Xbox 360, MS better have more bombshells than Kinect planned in the future otherwise they are going to be in for a rude wake up call.

Well damn. I guess the Wii remembered the holidays were coming up, and that everybody still needs more of it. Congrats Wii!

Nice software on the PS3 front.

Even as a Wii fan and somewhat of an anti-PS3 guy, that seems like an overly harsh ban even to me. I mean, most people here think a certain console "should be" over another one. Very few are truely unbiased enough to think they should all be even or close to it. Some of the moderation is getting a little strict, though I guess it's preferable to total anarchy like gamepro.com for instance where people say anything and everything and nothing happens.
