Forums - Sony - GT5 is a serious Buttkicker

I've just notice when you car hit another car or wall you hear a big thump (a lot of bass). Some would probably think this isn't how car sound when they hit yet anyone with a Buttkicker will know what this means; you will feel those hits. This wasn't in Gt5P and it's a nice surpirse.

when you get hit by a car in high speed you will feel the bump (and REAL cars aren't as fragile as people make them seem to be in movies and games btw!) before you hear the huge sound of twisted metal and carbon fiber. i'm talking about experience btw >_>; i love speeding...

also would like to note that when you are driving you barely hear the loud as hell noise outside from the crash, lots of the new cars designed to cancel outside noises that aren't high pitched (horns) , also a lot of cars of today are designed to be as safe as possible with a bit of sacrficing , even (untuned) race cars and supercars.

Carbon fiber doesn't twist; it shatters.  I'm speaking from experience, by the way.  Carbon fiber splinters hurt very bad.

"The huge sound of twisted metal and carbon fiber."

Carbon fiber doesn't make a noise if it's just sitting there.

I know I feel like I'm really driving the car sometimes. How the camera moves and controller rumbles plus the graphics sucks you into this world that seems so real.
