Rage = RPG? That's like saying Far Cry 2 = RPG.

Anyway, looking pretty good. I'm not sure it's the best though, unless FFVXIII is coming out in 2011, there aren't any must-buys for me. Brink and Uncharted 3 are pretty close and at the same time, so far. Overall, it's a great year but when there aren't any guaranteed must-buys, I just can't call it 'the best year'. Besides, it seems like every year is better than the one before it.

Not to mention:

- XCom
- Child of Eden
- Journey
- Metal Gear Solid: Rising (although that might be delayed to '12 if rumors are to be believed)

All in all, it's a pretty fantastic list! I can count 19 games that are must haves for me, which is pretty scary. xD

Not to mention the greatest game of all time, Guild Wars 2! Although it's PC only, so I don't know if that counts.

come on man not you to(i feel so alone)! 2013-14 is the yrs for that? this gen may get pushed further because of move and kinect.(i wouldn't argue for or against it personaly)

not to mention the cost of dev. continuses to go up. do you really think the big 3 or any other pubs are ready for the next gen? srry im not so sure or convinced.

i say 2014 for the reveal of the new consoles and 2016 for there release. i wouldn't mind being right or wrong about this one.

The only games on the list that interest me are Dragon Age 2, Elder Scrolls V, and Gears 3. Dragon Age 2 I will probably get for PC, and Elder Scrolls V might not even make it next year.

i think 2013 will be the latest for the next gen to start. i think microsoft wanted to get people to know the xbox brand with kinect to help prepare them with their new system.  they are trying to figure out what sells well/works well with kinect so that their new system will be golden. ps4 will come out because they dont want microsoft to get a head start again. i still think wii hd will come out in 2012 if the new ps360 come out in 2013

well Wii one will reach 45m next yr in the U.S. so its possible. i agree with everything in bold, but i just don't see it?

 give me some time and im sure i'll come around lol? i must admit it sounds logical, but i see the market as being strong for the next 3 yr's so there would be no reason for it. very reasonable post.
