true but i expected around a 40k plus pre orders on the final weak. many people did.

It has had zero advertising so those pre-order numbers are not that surprising. It will sell just fine over holidays as Sony starts to advertise it. Remember people. Most people who buy games don't follow game forums !

Er, I saw the Kevin Butler ad several constantly last week and weekend?  It started airing last Wednesday iirc.

Last Wednesday? O_o it debuted on the internet last Thursday and was supposed to begin airing this Sunday.

I edited in, looked it up and it started airing Thursday.  I've seen it quite a bit already, and I don't watch much TV even, though I wasn't totally sure if I saw it before Saturday.

About 7-8 million. GT3 sold 14.7 million but it was bundled in US so it sold over 7 million copies there, thats why GT4 only sold 2.8 million in US because it wasnt bundled, GT4 sold about 10 million.

GT5 doesnt seem to be having PS3 bundles as of yet. Theres been a few exceptions but most games on PS3 have sold less than on PS3, and just overall games havent been putting in the sales of PS2 at all. So a couple less million for GT5 is reasonable.

7-8 million would put it second of all PS3 games so far just behind the worldwide phenomenon MW2 and slightly above GTAIV.

2-2.5 million in US

1 million in Japan

3.5-4.5 million in EMEAA

Yep got the same message it seems to be  a 3rd party  and affecting gamerfeed ,the report says the rest of VGC has been clean for the last 90 days

I call BS on this one ( I won't make a thread about it tho :P ) ...I have never seen anyone say that, and if they did then they are delusional

EMEAA is where GT is at simple as that....it will do good numbers (not amazing numbers) in NA as time goes (especially once the ad campaign hits)...

Maybe take it easy for now and wait and see how well it performs over the next year yea? Better than bickering about it every chance you get in almost every thread your in...
