One thing that can be highlighted between Microsoft Vs Sony is the wars for 3rd party games.

First came Fallout 3 and Call of Duty by Microsoft gaining timed exclusives on Downloadable content and Microsoft announcing more timed exclusives for Call of Duty and Fallout New Vegas 

Well SONY has turned around and gone "Well microsoft you may have timed exclusives how about we get some Full blown Exclusive content for our system, yea take that" 

Now SCE had many exclusive content for 3rd party games such as MOH Front-lines HD for MOH, Assassins Creed Brotherhood Exclusive DLC with some more exclusive content to come maybe Bioware and Mass effect 3?

its interesting how the big 3 up each other. 

SONY ups Nitendo's wii remote with there superior Move controller. Microsoft Ups SONY with there Superior eyetoy type device with the kinect. Nintendo Ups Sony's PSP graphics with the 3D graphics with the 3DS. 

Its only wait and see on what they do next. 

in my opinion the console war is both the best and worst that has happened to the gamers in this gen.

the best, because all the companies really work hard to please their customers.

the worst, because it has created a generation of people who blindly defend and buy stuff they would not even have touched with forceps several years ago.

The console wars get annoying sometimes when people say stuff about certain consoles that they have no clue about or just blur out random things. Though it can be fun when you shut up someone, because you know more about the console/company.

Its pretty minor really. Its just stuff you don't need. Its like Russia and the U.S.A. Fighting a proxy war by transmitting radio signals at each other with bad music.

I love it when it means excusives, true exclusives and nothing more.

The curent Console is boring not like the days of old.
