Forums - General - What are some easy meals to make in under 30 minutes?

An easy chicken recipe is to bread and bake whatever part of the chicken you're going to eat.  Stir-frying is also a fast process.

Even though I hate her and she sounds 40 years older than she looks, Racheal Ray has that show 30 Minute Meals.

One that can really help you is do all your prep ahead of time when you have time.  If you cook things early that can be cooked early and at least have everything cut up and seperated before hand that can make cooking a lot easier.

I don't know why but I make french toast for dinner pretty often.  Try that.  It should take you more than 15 minutes as well.

Pixel Art can be fun.

You can make french toast in 15 mintues or you can make really good french toast if you make the batter the night before and let it sit until you're ready to use it.

To anyone interested in starting to cook, watch Good Eats.  Alton Brown is just all around awesome and he explains the science and reasons why you do the things you do instead of just blindly throwing recipes at you.  He's super informative and makes you a better cook because you start to understand why you do things like letting the french toast batter rest.

Lipton Sidekicks. Except you eat it as a meal instead of a side dish.

Jamie Oliver's 30 minute meals

The crock pot is your friend. In 30 minutes of prep, you can have a meal when you get home from work.

I've taken up cooking, and have been making a ton of great stuff recently.

AllRecipes.com is also your friend. The best thing you can do is take something you really, really like and learn to make it. You'll save a ton of cash by making it yourself.

Anything with rice ends up being a good quick dish. Jambalaya is a great one, and you can use most meats in it like chicken, sausages, or seafood. You can make it in about 20-25 minutes. It can be a one-pot meal too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

You can easily make stir fry in less than thirty minutes.. hamburger helper.. uhm most any kind of pasta. Basically, anything that doesn't involve an oven can be cooked in less than thirty minutes.
