Was thinking about all the games that have come out in the past couple months and that got me thinking of all the games that came out at the start of the year, so I decided to make a list, because I'm bored, and maybe someone can advise me of any good games I may have missed this year, since I can't see anything else after GT5 since LBP2 got pushed to next year.  Below are the games I purchased this year, should give you an idea of the types of games I prefer. I did not include XBL or PSN games.  Anyhow, this is what my list looked like this year:

I'm surprised even one Wii game made the list, bought Metroid due to Nostalgia mostly, and stopped playing it after I got to the 'plant boss' that handed me my ass over and over for over an hour straight

Never played a Yakuza game, will look it up on GT.  Do I need to play the preceding Yakuza games to understand Yakuza 3?

SSFIV - meh, I have SFIV can't see paying another $60 for a couple more characters :)

Not a huge racing fan, though I wouldn't consider myself a huge FPS fan, even though my list includes a lot of them.. and looking at my collection I have every CoD back to the original..  MNR was purchased because it looked fun, and I liked the Create/Share/Play motto, and well, GT5 is.. GT5... :)

I have both the DS and a PSP.  Last PSP game I liked was Crisis Core and the last DS game I liked was Professor Layton
