I don't think there's any other reason to be speachless lol! I mean, imagine if you were Ron. Poor guy... I actually thought to myself while watching that, "Voldemort, you are truly evil for doing that to poor Ron!". I'm actually going to see it again very soon... I read the book a day before I watched the movie, so I was overly aware of any change that the movie made (actually, I very much enjoyed the dancing scene. Very sweet.). I was kind of expecting everything, so I want to go back and watch it without such a critical eye this time around. Just... enjoy it. ^_^ |
Haha I thought you were speechless from the Special effects when the Lockett was opened lol! They were definitely some great effects there.
Yeah if I was Ron I that situation, I probably would've been tempted to kill Harry first lolz.
I'm just glad it's split into two parts. I mean could you imagine Deathly Hallows fitting into 1 Movie?

Hey! I was thinking it! My mouth was still wide open lol!
And yes, I couldn't imagine Deathly Hallows as one movie now that I've seen Part 1. Too much would have been left out (and they were already explaining so much in this one!). I am extremely excited for Part 2...
Oh, and the Three Brothers tale was awesomely done. Can't believe I almost forgot about that part.
These are really good numbers. Still haven't seen the movie yet though

Me too. Extremely pumped for Part 2 but it's not until July 2011!!! Oh well I'll have Sucker Punch, X Men First Class, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger's Tides and Kung Fu Panda 2 to look forward to until July 2011 and of course the Big Boss is releasing in July as well...
TRANSFORMERS DARK OF THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Three Brothers Tale was definitely presented well. It refreshed me about the Tale as well. Just shows how much of genius JK Rowling is. That tale is extremely good and I nearly jizzed when I read it in the book first.

The 2nd best in the series.
Still can't beat number 3.
i thought it was definitely the worst one yet, and i dont even like most of the other ones. so much stupid things and so much boringness, they could have easily fit it all in one movie if they didnt fill the movie with scenes where NOTHING IS HAPPENING!

I hated the movie.
You could find more emotion in a morgue. Honestly, was there even ONE emotion in the entire movie besides Hermione crying at the Malfoys'? Not even the end sequence stirred emotion in me. Not at all helped by Radcliffe. What does he do when Ron returns? Takes it in fucking stride with a monotone voice. Not even astonished when he sees him as his savior. There was no astonishment, not even a stunned silence.
And the movie was dull as crap. The book was throbbing with narrative, but it is rather difficult to capture Harry's thoughts on the silver screen. But still, about 20 minutes between any action, and even then it was 1-2 minutes. It simply translated badly from the book.
And then, I may be nitpicky, but there were some elements of the plot they didn't have. Harry's obsession with the Hallows? The Taboo? Dumbeldore's past?
It's like they had a general outline of the story, and just filled it in with whatever they wished. Voldy was supposed to come after them in Malfoy Manor AND Godric's Hollow. Yet he wasn't there. And don't even get me started on the fact that the locket and diary are the only fucking horcruxes mentioned.
I thought I could forgive David Yates for #5 and #6. But no. I can't. The book with the most emotion was stripped of that, which is unforgivable.
Other than that, it was okay.
