Water Levels, they suck
The meter-high fence. A variation of the invisible wall, this barrier is something either slightly too tall for your character to jump over, or attempts to do so just fail when they really shouldn't. Not always sectioning off an area from gameplay, these frustrations often impede movement in multiplayer deathmatches. Many fences in inFamous achieve this effect, but they are a bit taller at least.

Especially in hard games where you might die a lot of times and have to suffer endless animations, cutscenes and other such stupid things when you just want to get on with it! Or having to play through a long, loooong part of game only to get to a certain hard point and die instantly, and having to do it all, again. That gets old, quickly. |
Agreed. I can't get into Demon's Souls because of this. I hate insta-deaths, and this game has SO many of them, and it has no check points. Needing to know the game's deathtraps by heart is not something I enjoy.
Agreed on whoever mentioned "Water Levels". Being slowed underwater timer to run low on oxygen = me in panic not having fun.
I also dislike games with slow loading times.

Save points. You should be able to save your game and turn it off whenever you please.
A bad camera and bad gamplay over all...

When a game is all easy, then the final boss is a beast and you are seriously underleveled.
Chrono Trigger
stealth games where the ai is crazy and the smallest error means it is over like metro 2033
Things that annoy me the most are games that would be amazing if they weren't unnecessarily hard and games that give you a time limit to finish things.
