Especially in hard games where you might die a lot of times and have to suffer endless animations, cutscenes and other such stupid things when you just want to get on with it! Or having to play through a long, loooong part of game only to get to a certain hard point and die instantly, and having to do it all, again. That gets old, quickly. |
Agreed. I can't get into Demon's Souls because of this. I hate insta-deaths, and this game has SO many of them, and it has no check points. Needing to know the game's deathtraps by heart is not something I enjoy.
Agreed on whoever mentioned "Water Levels". Being slowed underwater timer to run low on oxygen = me in panic not having fun.
I also dislike games with slow loading times.
