Yeah, because they don't have any in stock. They're only distributing expensive third party offerings right now (65€ vs 40€ for a controller and 80€ vs 60€ for the Starter Pack) and at least at amazon.de it's been that way for weeks. (I know that because I'm trying to get a second Move and I can't find one for a reasonable price.) Sony is failing hard at restocking after the launch shipment. Of course that doesn't mean that Kinect wouldn't outsell it anyway - Kinect just launched so it's probable - but it makes the comparison rather pointless. |
No, they are all very much in stock. Move isn't selling at Amazon because it simply isn't selling. it isn't due to any shortages. Move has never been in shortage for the bundle.
The only thing in shortage is extra controllers but that isn't what new Move customers buy..it is the starter bundle, which are in PLENTY of supply at Amazon UK, Amazon France and Amazon Germany. The extra controllers only sell to people who already own Move (have bought the Move bundle) so sales of those don't matter. The thing we follow is sales of the Move starter bundle since we are trying to track the number of new Move users.
Here are links to show that the Move starter bundles are in stock at all three places:
Sorry, but Move sales just aren't very good.
