Its not going to be developed by Bizarre Creations.

Studios are closed by their owners, leads go start new studio, much staff follows them, games are developed. This has all happened before and will happen again . . .

I suppose that's possible. I mean there has been talk about bringing PGR back for a while now. So I just assumed they were going with someone else.

Bizarre Creations is likely going under so perhaps the people there are already planning their next move. MS seemed to be happy with them, they just weren't happy Forza got all the attention.

My heart sank when I read this. PGR 1-3 are my favourite console racers. They mixed arcade and sim so beautifully and were just a joy to play. PGR 4 was also beautiful but it lacked the magic of the first 3 probably due to the bikes getting in the way of the good stuff for me.

Hopefully, if they sell, a publisher more capable of backing its devs scoops them up. In my view that would include Sony, MS and EA. Sony already has a few first party racing devs and successful series (GT5, Motorstorm, ModNation Racers) and EA is in a similar boat (NFS, Burnout). That leaves MS... I don't think that'll happen given that's how Bizarre got to where they are now.

Whatever happens, all the best to Bizarre Creations. You've made some of my favs and you guys and gals deserve better.
