My heart sank when I read this. PGR 1-3 are my favourite console racers. They mixed arcade and sim so beautifully and were just a joy to play. PGR 4 was also beautiful but it lacked the magic of the first 3 probably due to the bikes getting in the way of the good stuff for me.
Hopefully, if they sell, a publisher more capable of backing its devs scoops them up. In my view that would include Sony, MS and EA. Sony already has a few first party racing devs and successful series (GT5, Motorstorm, ModNation Racers) and EA is in a similar boat (NFS, Burnout). That leaves MS... I don't think that'll happen given that's how Bizarre got to where they are now.
Whatever happens, all the best to Bizarre Creations. You've made some of my favs and you guys and gals deserve better.
