Wondering how long it takes for GT5 to outsell Forza 3 sales so far. GT4 sold 2.5 milion in week one, 4.3M in first month...

2 weeks would be my honest guess, although it might take 3. GT5 Prologue has outsold Forza 3 by almost two million (PD's website says ~5 million sales counting almost 1 million online sales).

Do you mean PS3 only? Last year MW2 sold 3.1 million on the PS3/360 in EMEAA first week. (almost 1.5 million on the PS3 alone)

COD:BO numbers aren't up yet, but they should be somewhat higher than MW2's opening week.

Not really though, they appeal to slightly different markets where one likes Arcade racers with zero customization and realism and the other the direct opposite. They are very different games, it would be like a Timesplitters game losing sales because of Half-Life (kind of, only even more different). Most GT fans I know get easily bored of Arcade racing and the lack of depth and realism and most Arcade racing fans I know (Burnout, NFS etc) don't appreciate GT for its depth and immersion. There are a few who like both (I do) but these games mostly appeal to different people.

So on a sales website we aren't supposed to compare sales of games in the same genre??  Oh yeah, it's an anti-360 statement, so of course you would comment.
