Forums - Gaming - XBL on a Sony platform? or 'Why companies are better than their fanboys'

imagine this!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I guess this means we can look forward to XBL on PS4? Any takers?! JK

Oh my, I do believe this is the first time in history we've seen Sony hardware running MS software.

There are these things called Personal Computers...

Actually, I remain convinced MS only build HW as a platform for their OS and standards and would probably prefer if Sony (and Nintendo) would agree to put MS OS and standards on their consoles.  Or maybe I just love the idea of the meltdowns that would result from a Sony/MS collaboration around HW/SW and the combination of their various franchises.  It would be priceless!

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Im filled with lols and awesomeness from looking at this. Want....that...phone...

Yeah i know my spelling sucks but im dysgraphic so live with it :3

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

People are expecting Sony and MS to be the greatest enemies. They're not. The gaming sector is the only branch where they're actually competing. Why should Sony exclude MS software from their phones when MS aren't even making phones? They're not competing there. Same with the Vaios. Sony isn't making an OS, so they include an OS that is used by 90% of all PC users. Simple as that.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Wow you guys are slow, they've been doing this ever since they started making computers.

sometimes they are competition and sometimes they are partners ... what ever gives them more clients and money... in business, contrary to fundamentalism thinking, what matter are objectives and not petty wars without any business advantage besides the PR politics to bring more people to their "side" (userbase)

who doesn't understand that is naive...
