Remember - if it's not an FPS with online multiplayer, it's casual.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Sony has really expanded their focus in latin America, they know they won't beat 360 and wii in the big markets like US and UK, so they go in the smaller ones and create a whole new market. Believe it or not, Sony is cementing these areas the same way they did in Europe.

Better late than never because two year ago we are trash to them.
good stuff coming from the PSmove...do we know how much the PSmove sold in Japan?
| FinalEvangelion said: Obviously, Sony is just overshipping and stuffing the channels. And of course they are just producing more controllers just for fun because the demand clearly isn't there.
(yes, I'm being sarcastic) |
There's no need to be sarcastic, because what you say is true. I work for Sony and we've been burying in the same spot we got the ET Atari carts. I'm so sorry I have lied to you all. I shall commit Seppuku.

Sony is utilizing sound military strategy. If you can't defeat your enemy head on (U.S.), surround them and attack from all directions rofl. Japan, an edge in Europe, Latin America, hopefully China....
Seriously though, this will pay off for them later on. They seem to be putting a lot of effort into expanding markets. Hopefully they build some brand loyalty, like Europe.

Wait. Youre just noticing this now? This has been the excuse said about the Wii for several years. Hey if Sony wants to copy after Nintendo, then they have to get all the BS that Nintendo got too =P
