Ernie Isley of the  Isley Bros

And Terry Kath of Chicago Transit Authority\Chicago

Before Chicago went top 40 they were a good jazz\rock fusion band.  There first album was recorded live in studio. His work on Poem 58 is great. videos don't have the best sound

I didn't know that I believe they have a similar a style. I would love to see that. The Isley Bros are a f..king great musical family

You can add Blackbyrd McKnight (Maggot Brain solo) with Funkadelic  parliament and briefly with the chili peppers

And Mike Campbell of TP and the Heartbreakers

Mister fucking Buckethead and Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom.

yes one of the isley's can't remember who saw jimi in a store, he was going by the name jimmy james then

took him back to the isleys home they recorded there in 1966 with jimi on guitar  then jimi moved on

this was before ernie isley joined the group though.
