Like it has been discussed already couple of times at least first month sales of Halo 3 are undertracked in America. NPD proves this. Both sold 3.3 million in USA first month (Reach had actually one extra week compared to halo 3) and yet we have reach outselling Halo 3 easily.

Yes we have heard that time and time again.  We only have history of the Playstation and Playstation 2 selling at $199 to base this on when they had already won the previous generations.  Things will play out very differently this time with the 2 consoles in front of the PS3 probably at the $100 price point when the PS3 hits $200.

Do you believe we'll see a $100 console this gen? Alriiight...

Why not by the time the PS3 drops $400 from launch it is perfectly viable that the base 360 drops $200 and the Wii drops $150.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Wow a pretty decent boost for the 360, in fact all 3 consoles are doing surprisingly well.

So KINECT sold almost 500k in Americas so far.

Are you aware of the fact that we're almost certainly overtracking it in EMEAA? We have it selling 600k outside of the UK in September but it didn't even crack the top 20 in Germany, Spain, France, or Italy.

Actually, the anger that's perceived is the anger that's projected.  We all already know you are anti-SONY/PS3?  That's where the source of the anger lies.

Next week Kinect will go down much in US. It looks like most of these Kinect sales are from standalone bundles and those are sold out.
