Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Why Do Bad Wii Games Get Reviewed So Quickly?

Who would give Babysitting Mama a 4.5/10?  It's a game... marketed towards 6-12 year old girls... about babysitting.  And it comes with a doll.  I take it their review is whining about the lack of HD graphics, the lack of achievements, the lack of DLC, and the use of more than 3 colors.

And how would they skip Monster Hunter?

I think it's just a matter of saving time.  They can review 50 shovelware games in the time it takes to review Monster Hunter, and they'd rather have 50 reviews up than 1 review people will read.

Do they do this with the other systems?  The other systems get tons and tons of shovelware as well.  Do those games get instantly reviewed?  Or do they collectively ignore those games and pretend it's a Wii-specific problem in an attempt to perpetuate their argument that the Wii has no good third party games and the other systems have no shovelware?

I mean... you could just start a blog that only reviews the 50 best Wii games and the 300 worst HD games.
